The Orchard at Montague invites you for a memorable experience with family and friends, just 35km from Melbourne. The Orchard incorporates a stunning restaurant, Stella’s Kitchen, where you can dine among orchard and garden views; a bountiful orchard abundant with fruit; and a retail store Bill’s Orchard Gate, where you can taste and shop seasonal fresh produce in addition to locally-sourced artisan goods.
Neighbouring the 220-hectare Lysterfield Park, you’re also welcomed to a range of recreational activities, from a walk around the serene lake, mountain bike trails and bushwalking, to catching a glimpse of Australia’s native wildlife, like hopping kangaroos and beautiful birds. The Orchard at Montague also borders the beautiful Yarra Ranges, home to Puffing Billy and some of Australia’s most beautiful trails.

Named after the Montague family matriarch, Stella’s Kitchen offers an enchanting dining experience at our stunning orchard, only a short drive from the CBD. Get to know the loving Stella, through the menu of recipes she loved.

Bill’s Orchard Gate boasts a range of fresh produce, homewares and gifts, beautifully overlooking the Little Orchard and lush gardens.
The store offers everything from local produce, chocolates, chutneys, and teas, to ceramics and homewares from renowned pottery artist, Robert Gordon. Walk around Lysterfield Lake and then treat yourself to a freshly-squeezed juice; discover a new fruit at our fresh fruit tastings; or simply explore the locally-sourced goods.

The Little Orchard, situated gorgeously opposite Stella’s Kitchen, offers a range of apples, pears, plums, apricots, peaches and nectarines through the seasons. We are delighted to offer exciting and educational Orchard Tours that will inspire you to plant your own fruit trees.
